In the vast river of human civilization, bridges are not just physical passages connecting both sides; they are also the intersection of history and the future.

Over the years, Carpoly has been involved in many bridge construction anti-corrosion coating projects, one of which is the Qingshui River Bridge in Guizhou. It has witnessed the historical changes of Guizhou and carries the future development of Guizhou.

Carpoly provided an anti-corrosion coating solution for the concrete piers of the Qingshui River Bridge.


"No place is flat for three feet" - this description fits Guizhou perfectly. Karst topography occupies more than 60% of the province's area, with mountains and deep valleys crisscrossed by ravines. Two points that seem close on the map may require a journey of ups and downs, crossing rivers and mountains.

3.jpgTo shorten the transportation distance and improve efficiency, Guizhou has set up high-speed bridges in the vertical middle section of the high mountains and canyons, and the Qingshui River Bridge is one of the shining pearls among them.

The bridge is 2171 meters long, with a main span of 1130 meters and a height of 406 meters. At the time of completion, it was the second-highest bridge in the world and one of the world's largest span combined girder suspension bridges.

The Qingshui River Bridge stands above the Dalin River Canyon, with the winding road below in sharp contrast to the straight and fast bridge surface.


After the completion and opening of the Qingshui River Bridge, the driving time from Guiyang to Weng'an was shortened to one hour, ending the history of inconvenient transportation in the area and opening up a more convenient and better future. When a high-speed road network connects the villages deep in the mountains with the outside world, at least everyone has the possibility to go out of the mountains.

Features: High solid content, convenient construction; excellent salt spray resistance, good artificial aging resistance, can meet the long-term anti-corrosion requirements of C4 corrosive environment.

Epoxy zinc-rich primer + epoxy iron intermediate paint + fluorocarbon topcoat

Features: High solid content, convenient construction; excellent salt spray resistance, good artificial aging resistance, can meet the long-term anti-corrosion requirements of C5-I corrosive environment.

Epoxy zinc-rich primer + epoxy iron intermediate paint + polysiloxane topcoat

Features: High solid content, convenient construction, high film thickness in one pass; excellent salt spray resistance, good artificial aging resistance, can meet the long-term anti-corrosion requirements of C5-I corrosive environment.

If bridges are not protected by anti-corrosion coatings, they may find it difficult to withstand the erosion of wind and sun as well as the impact of torrential currents.
